If you are looking for a leader, you need to find the one with the character who can handle it. Leadership takes more than just telling people what to do. It takes consistency, honesty, an ability to diplomatically face conflict. If you have the right leader, many of your "people problems" will disappear.
After identifying a leader, an education is necessary. Most believe that any person can learn to do any job with enough training. This is simply not true. Leaders need to understand that, in general, people need help. They need structure. They need direction.
Leaders need to be helped to understand that when someone is not performing acceptably often it is because the person CAN'T, not because the person WON'T.
